Join the SD Statewide Family Engagement Center on a journey to learn about trauma in children, how it affects brain development and behavior, and how to implement trauma-informed practices into your work and your environment. This 5.5-hour learning day will be beneficial to educators, childcare providers, and anyone who works with children.

- RAPID CITY: Tuesday, May 3 | TIE Office | 9:30 AM-4 PM MDT
Learning Objectives:
- Participants will have a better understanding of trauma and Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs).
- Participants will learn and share strategies to build positive relationships with students and respond to behaviors associated with dysregulation.
- Participants will reflect on how to implement their learning and gain confidence to be a leader in trauma responsiveness at school, at work, or in the community.
5.5 continuing education contact hours will be offered for this training.
